How to size your controll ball valves

In this video, we show you how to correctly size your V-sector ball valves to match your required flow, using our valve sizing/flow rate chart. Please note this is not an exacting process, and unless you are completely happy with the sizing of the control valve, we would suggest you contact our Technical Engineers who have experience in sizing valves and have programs that can be run using your figures to confirm your selection.

How to replace a balls valve's seats and seals

Step By Step Guide

  1. Remove 3 of the 4 bolts holding the valve together
  2. Rotate the centre portion of the valve from out between the two end plates
  3. Remove the seats and seals from within the centre portion on both sides of the ball
  4. Slide your new seats and seals into the centre portion on both sides of the ball
  5. Rotate the centre portion of the valve back in between the two end plates
  6. Reinsert and tighten the 3 removed bolts

In this video, we show you how to replace, change and fit the seats and seals on a 3 piece encapsulated, hygienic ball valve.
The process for changing the seats and seals can be replicated for any 3 piece ball valve using this video.

How to replace the diaphragm valve

Step By Step Guide

  1. Remove the 4 bolts holding the valve together
  2. Separate the two halves of the valve to expose the diaphragm
  3. Unscrew the old diaphragm from the compression shaft
  4. Screw the new diaphragm on to the compression shaft
  5. Join the two halves of the valves back together and reinsert the bolts
  6. Tighter the 4 bolts to secure the valve body together
