Mars Ball Valve Series 83 Fire Safe Anti Static Stainless Steel
Our Mars Ball Valve Series 83 Fire Safe Anti Static Stainless Steel is a heavy duty, fully maintainable three piece ball valve; for use in hazardous areas. A high performance full or reduced bore valve with Stainless Steel body with reinforced RTFE ball seat and Graphite filled body and neck seals.
The Mars Series 83 benefits from a unique encapsulated body bolt design. Body seals are easy to replace and / or maintain in-line without the need for disassembly, simply by dropping the swing out body.
This valve has a fire-safe certificate by SwRI (South West research institute TX USA), TUV (Germany) and the latest API 607 4th Edition (reflecting the conditions of a fire in the field). A tremendous advantage throughout the oil and gas, refinery and chemical industries.
Suitable for manual on / off or V control.
Key features:
- Available in Screwed BSP, Socket Weld, Butt Weld or NPT.
- Sizes: Reduced Bore 1/4" to 2 1/2" and Full Bore 1/4" to 2 1/2".
- Temperature range: -20 °C to +200°C.
- Operating pressure: 1/4" to 1" 2000 PSI and 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" 1500 PSI.
- Insulated grip, lockable lever handle.
- Movement: 90° turn.
- ATEX approved.
Firesafe certified to API607 Rev 6. Antistatic PED approval. ANSI B16.34. Test to EN10204.
