TLV COSPECT Stainless Steel Flanged PRV with Built in Separator, Strainer and Trap

COS-3 ¾”-2” Pressure reducing valve for use on low pressures up to a maximum operating pressure of 3 bar. Has an integral separator, strainer and steam trap to supply high-quality steam. All major components are made of stainless steel to prevent rust. Pressure adjustment range: 0.1 - 0.5 bar.

COS-16 ½”-2” Pressure reducing valve for use up to a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar. Has an integral separator, strainer and steam trap to supply high-quality steam. All major components are made of stainless steel to prevent rust. Pressure adjustment range: 0.3 -13.4 bar.

COS-21 ½”-2” Pressure reducing valve for use on high pressures up to a maximum operating pressure of 21 bar. Has an integral separator, strainer and steam trap to supply high-quality steam. All major components are made of stainless steel to prevent rust. Pressure adjustment range: 5.5 - 17.6 bar.

Supplied with built in separator, strainer and trap.

Product features a built-in Super Cyclonical Effects Separator, which has 98% condensate separation efficiency. Condensate entrained in the steam is separated out, and a strainer further removes any scale.

The condensate that is separated out is quickly removed through the built-in free float trap. This improvement in the quality of the steam itself also results in an improvement to the heat transfer of the steam.

Supplies steam at a stable pressure. Accuracy of pressure reducing valve’s secondary set pressure is within ± 0.1 bar. Even if the steam load to the equipment or the primary pressure at the pressure reducing valve changes, the Shock-absorbing Spherical Piston supplies steam at a constant pressure in order to maintain the temperature of the steam used as the heating source.

Recommended for processes requiring steam at a stable pressure and processes. Typical applications:-steam lines for reactor kettles, dryers, heat exchangers, presses, steamers, blowers, atomisers etc
